He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Desjardins and Lauria Desjardins (Ouellette); and his siblings, Réginald and Diane. He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Coulombe; his sons, Marc Michel Desjardins (Brenda) of Fredericton and Eric Pierre Desjardins (Charito) of Vancouver; his grandchildren, Geneviève, Amélie, Eric, Nathan, Marianick, Meghan and Sam; his siblings, Marie-Line Bourgoin (late Gilles) of Grand Falls, Gaëtane Leclair (Rodrigue) of Charlo, Aline Thériault (Aldo) of Chatham, Marcel (Denise) of Lacombe, Sylvie (David Berry) of Edmonton, Louis-Marie (Cammy) of Red Deer and Reine (Jean Bélanger) of Charlo; his sister-in-law Jeanelle (late Réginald); Mathieu and Sébastien. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
