He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Desjardins and Marie-Anne Desjardins (Lavoie); and his siblings, Alcide, Lina Beaulieu, Jeanne J. Desjardins, Père Urbain, Adolphe, Edgar, Odette Beaulieu-Caissie, Marthe Gagnon, Philippe and Véronique Desjardins.
He is survived by: his spouse Marie-Mai Picard; his children, Lise, Alain of Drummond and Jean (Mélanie) of Moncton; his grandsons, Marc, Eric and Xavier; his sister Yvette Ouellette (Félix) of Drummond; and his children, Patrice, Pont-Viau Laval, Laurier (late France) of Saint-Pierre, Ile, Orléans, Réal (Marcelle) of Longueuil, Alyre (Lucille) of Alma, Huguette Cottreau (late George) of Dartmouth, Maurice (Jean) of Drummond, Lorraine Gagnon (Ronald) of Grand Falls and Gisèle Gagnon (Gilles) of Boucherville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic situation, a private service will take place with his immediate family in attendance.
