She was predeceased by: her parents, Benoit Cyr and Leda Cyr (Bourgoin); and her siblings, Therese Thibault, Nilda Geneau, Emilia Leclerc, Marie-Ange Ouellette, Antoine, Alphonse, Alfred and Lionel Bonsant.

She is survived by: her husband Gerard Bernier; and her children, Guildo (Dawn) of St-Leonard-Parent, Gerald (Sylvie) of Drummond and Tyna Bernier (Yan Bellavance) of Drummond. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
