He was predeceased by: his parents, Andre Desjardins and Jeanne Desjardins (Ouellette); and his sister Ghislaine Morin. He is survived by: his wife Lucie Desjardins (Guay); his daughters, Annik Desjardins (Salomon Hamel) of St-Apollinaire and Julie Desjardins-Guay (Corey) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Laurence and Jacob Hamel; his siblings, Leonette Desjardins (William "Bill" Michon) of Gracefield, Claudette Desjardins of Carleton, Wilhelmine Desjardins (late Alain Arsenault), Ancienne-Lorette, Rejeanne Perreault (late Alvin), Gilles Desjardins (Aline) of Drummond, Ronald Desjardins of Grand Falls, Robert Desjardins (late Pauline) of Drummond and Marielle Desjardins of Montreal; and his brother-in-law Yvon Morin (Linda Nadeau) of Drummond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
