He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Michaud (Poitras); his parents, Onil Michaud and Rita Michaud (Geneau); his son Tommy Michaud; his brother Valdor; and also, Jeannette Gagnon and Marcel Theriault.

He is survived by: his daughter Sylvie (Terry Michaud); his granddaughter Jolie of Grand Falls; his siblings, Julien (Ginette) of Drummond, Mariette (Joe Desjardins) of Drummond, Marie-Ange (Paul Godbout) of Grand Falls, Therese Gauvin (late Gaetan) of Caribou, Maine, Germaine (Irenee Desrosiers) of Saint-Andre, Noelline (Gerard Beaulieu) of Drummond, Jeannette Langlais (late Louis-Marie) of Grand Falls, Diana (Daniel Ouellette) of Saint-Andre, Murielle (Michel Theriault) of Grand Falls, Marcella (Sylvain Poitras) of Drummond and Parise Michaud of Drummond; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Michaud (late Valdor) of Drummond and Rino Gagnon (late Jeannette) of Grand Falls. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
