Norma Cormier Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norma Cormier of Edmundston, New Brunswick, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Norma left this world on August 17, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred M. Cyr and Marie Cyr (Gervais); her sons, Ghislain Cormier and Cyr Cormier; her granddaughter Lessa Cormier; and her siblings, Richard, Morel Cyr, Alma Godreau, Hectorine Côté, Eveline Leclerc, Lilianne Laforge and Yvonnette Pelletier.
She is survived by: her children, Jocelyn "Blanc" Cormier (Michelle Michaud) of Grand Falls, Marise Desjardins (Bertin), Dina Giberson and Marco Cormier (Marie) of Saint-André; her former husband Gilles Cormier of Saint-André; her sisters, Jeannine Plourde of Fredericton and Noëlla Bérubé of Halifax, NS; and her sisters-in-law, Cécile Cyr (late Richard) and Rina Cyr (late Morel). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Saint-André Roman Catholic Church.
