She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Francis and Rita Francis (Simonson); her husband John McKay; her common-law partner Ray Somers; her son John McKay; and her brother Edward Francis.
She is survived by : her children, Julie McKay of Eel Ground, Angie McKay (Bobby Allain) of Eel Ground, April McKay (Larry Cloud) of Red Bank and Kris McKay of Eel Ground; her siblings, Theresa Francis of Eel Ground, Tina Francis of Eel Ground and Robert Francis (Karen) of Eel Ground; her grandchildren, Brandon, Breanne, Dustin, Jorja Grace, John David of Gracie Lynn, A. J. and Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Heath, John William and Marie Louise Grace. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
