He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Carter and Waldo Carter of Elgin; his wife Lila Jane Carter; and his siblings, Connie Harper, Daurice Harper, Waldo, Hudson, Leland and Albert.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Jr. Carter (Tammy), Bradley Carter (Katrina) and Jason Carter (Lisa); his grandchildren, Cass Carter (Christine), Matthew Carter (Denise), Kayla-Jane Steeves (Aaron), Mark Carter (Larissa), Connor Carter and Gavin Carter; his great grandchild Autumn Carter; and his sister Sharon Bishop (Donald). He is also survived by his extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salisbury Funeral Home (3350 NB-106, Salisbury, NB E4J3H3).
