It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Darlene V. Shaw (Florenceville, New Brunswick), born in Kilburn, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 81, on September 16, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, George DeLong and Francis DeLong (Rideout); her husband Clayton; her son-in-law Karl Hickey; and her siblings, Helen, Marie, Norma, Marilyn, Maxine Bud, Ripley, Ronnie and Joe.

She is survived by : her daughters, Valerie Power (Daniel), Kathy Caldwell (Tony), Nancy Kinney (Mark) and Carla Hansen (Doug); her grandchildren, Joel Hickey (Neneth), Daniel Hickey (Melissa), Tiffany Anderson (Ryan), Anthony Caldwell, Tyler Robbins (Erica), Stephanie Ruff (Josh), Melissa Smardon (Joey), Nicholas Hansen and Noah Read; and her great grandchildren, Ally, Grayson, Aurora, Lennox, Isla, Carly, Carson, Emelia, Jazz and Bria. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
