It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell F. Simonds (Florenceville, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darrell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darrell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Annie (Stephenson). He is survived by: his wife Karen (Thomas); his children, Edward (Kelly) and Sarah (Stephen); his grandchildren, Marlee and Allyson; his brothers, Richard, Harrison (Kay) and Carmen (Marjorie); and his pet Harley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and Aunt.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1).
