He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Veinotte (Shaw) and William Veinotte. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Forsythe); his children, Sharon (Karl Brinkman), Shelley (Donald Hayes) and Randy (Lindsey Apsouris); his grandchildren, Michael (Megan Brewer) and Katelyn (Chetan Rakman); his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Archie; and his siblings, Eugene and Brenda (late Phillip). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
