She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Doris Armour and Cecil Percy Oakes; her husband Richard Rideout (Dick); and her children, Anthony Armour and Cecilia Shannon.

She is survived by: her sister Doris Smith; and her children, Tina McWaid, Charlene Rideout, Fred Rideout and Delta Kinney (Eric). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her 18 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren as well as many extended family.
