She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond DeMerchant and Ethel DeMerchant (Kinney); her great grandchild Addison; her brother LeRoy; and her brother-in-law Ronald.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Linda DeMerchant (Adrian), Arthur Downey and Allan Downey (Natalie); her siblings, Joyce Boyer (Jimmy), Thelma Brymer, Sheila DeMerchant (Eldon), Wanda DeMerchant, James DeMerchant (Beth) and Wayne DeMerchant (Sandy); and her close friends, Mary Caldwell and Charlene Schriver. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
