He was predeceased by : his daughter Catina Trowsdale; his father Deane Crabbe; his parents-in-law, Paul and Claudia Chase; and his siblings-in-law, David Chase, Robert Chase and Carol Chase.

He is survived by : his wife Paulette; his mother Sadie Crabbe; his daughter Angie Crabbe; his brother Donald Crabbe; his grandchildren, Caleb Gilbert, Indira Trowsdale, Tiana Trowsdale and Jemma Trowsdale; his nephew Ben; his niece Spring; his son-in-law Stephen Trowsdale (Grace); and his siblings-in-law, Jamie Chase (Teresa), John Chase (Barbie), Michael Chase (Karen), Rhonda Poynton (Alan), Patti Chase, Connie Chase and Robyn Chase.
