He was predeceased by: his parents, Nase Corey and Cora Corey (Kierstead); and his brothers, Warren, Marion, Earl, Willis and Mac.
He is survived by: his wife Carletta Corey (Geldart); his children, Lana Corey (Shailer) and Jeff Corey (Charlotte); his grandson Simon Corey; and his sisters, Flossie Hebert (late Edgar) and Lois Moss (Stan).
