She was predeceased by : her parents, Dana Nason and Lottie Nason (Tracy); her husband Leo; her brothers, Karl (Shirley) and Edwin Nason (Marilyn); her siblings-in-law, Eva Peterson (Percy), Sharon Nason, Mae Stewart, Florence Arbeau and Vincent Porter (Diane); and her son-in-law Barry Myrie.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mandy Lewis (Ed) of Bermuda, Crysta Myrie of Fredericton Junction and Lauren Murji (Shane Vold) of Okotoks; her son-in-law Karim Murji of Edmonton, AB; her grandchildren, Raziq Murji of Edmonton, AB, Jackson Myrie (Niki Morehouse) of Fredericton Junction, NB and Kassi Murji (Humzey Hussain) of Edmonton, AB; her great grandchild Khaleed Murji of Irricana, AB.; and her siblings, Hilda Merritt (Lee) of Fredericton Junction, James Nason of Fredericton and Lynn Nason (Jane) of Grand Bay.

The family would appreciate donations in Shirley's memory to the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church or Alzheimer's Association of New Brunswick.
