He is survived by: his wife Ellen "Ellie" Patricia Michel; his children, Joshua Michel (Laura Guitard), Sarah Michel (Caleb Michel Kingsland) and Jessica Rose (Brian Rose); his pet Chester; his grandchildren, Patrick Michel Kingsland, Lillian "Lala" Michel Kingsland and Hudson Rose; his brother-in-law Eric Mendelsohn of Toronto; his sister Molly DeBoer; his brother-in-law Bob DeBoer; Laurie Brooks (Cecil), Tom Cornford (Jen), Mark Cornford (Marilyn), Donnie Cornford, Danny Cornford (Beth), Charlie Cornford (Nancy), Willie Cornford (Kristin Morehouse), Angie Nason (Troy) and Amy Paul (Misty). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
