Aletha Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Aletha Jones (Fredericton, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Aletha has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack H. VM and Annie V. M. (Davidson); her husband Murray G. Jones; and her siblings, Jackie Phillips (Doris) and Colleen Farrell (Jack).
She is survived by: her son Wayne (Tina); her granddaughter Jennifer; and her siblings-in-law, Esther Jones and Robert Jones (Alvina). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Aletha's memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton.
