He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Stewart; and his former wife Hattie. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Stewart; and his wife Helga (Riepegerste). He is also survived by four sons, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one brother (Frank Stewart) and numerous nieces and nephews.
