He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Cummings and Carrie Cummings (White); his son Gordon Bruce Cummings; and his siblings, Helen, Dorothy, Dorman, Benvie, Knight and George.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cummings (Miller); his daughter Debra Lee Cummings; his daughter-in-law Gillian Cummings (Haggart); his grandchildren, Leslie, Gregory, Linda, Madeleine and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, James, Sophia and Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Cancer Society or the ALS Society of Canada.
