The memory of Allister Burton Anderson of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Freda E. Anderson (Shipley) and Earle D. Anderson; and his son Paul Lawrence Anderson. He is survived by : his wife Anna Isabel Anderson (Pitts); his daughters, June L. DeMerchant (Paul) and Teena L. Merrithew (Tim); his grandchildren, Katie MacMackin (William), Laura Renault (Samuel), Robert DeMerchant (Marissa DiCarlo), Jessica McCafferty (Brandon) and Leigh-Anna MacDougall (Garett Cameron); his great grandchildren, Eliza, Audrey MacMackin, Olivia, Charlie Renault, Malcolm and Oaklyn McCafferty; and his brother Rodger Anderson (Sylvia) of Charter's Settlement. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bishop's Funeral, Home (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3).

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may donate in memory of Al to Hospice House of Fredericton or a charity of their choice.
