We announce the death of Ann Smallwood of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 84. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Burke and Ruby Burke; her sisters, Louise (Al Leblanc) and Kay (Darrel Harris); her parents-in-law, Borden Smallwood and Irene Smallwood; and her siblings-in-law, Georgie Smallwood and Ralph Wiggins.
She is survived by: her husband Robert William Smallwood; her daughters, Debbie (Randy Jefferson), Elaine (Brent Hoyt) and Holly (Adam MacLeod); her grandchildren, Jenelle (David), Michael (Jesse), Paige (Aram), Luke (Carly), Rebecca (Dillon), Rachel (Andru), Chloe (John), Connor and Owen; and her siblings-in-law, Harold, Kirk (Trudy), Lee (Camilla), Blake and Fay. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
