With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antonius Joseph Veerkamp (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Antonius Joseph Veerkamp to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Femy; his daughter Alida Sowers (Lidy); his parents, Antonius and Alida (Siemers); and his siblings, Theo, Herman Veerkamp and Ineka Broeren (Peter).

He is survived by : his children, Tony Veerkamp, Mary-Lou Mowat (Harvie), Cathy Veerkamp-Wallace (Bill), Irene Veerkamp (Troy Dorcas), Elise Gorman, Nancy Legere (Todd) and Diane Boardman (Vincent). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Douglas Rural Cemetery (123 Wilkins Ave, Fredericton, NB E3A1G1).
