She was predeceased by: her parents, Eileen DeMerchant and Nehemiah DeMerchant; and her siblings, Carl DeMerchant, Sheila MacDougall (Ronald) and Gloria Denny (Leo).
She is survived by: her son Vernon Giberson of Ontario; her siblings, Donna Sherwood, Beverly Arlow, Jean Bristow (Ken), Gary DeMerchant (Margaret), Brian DeMerchant and Joe DeMerchant; and her niece Judith Sherwood (Dan). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gee Flat Cemetery.
