Bessie Dickieson Obituary
We bid farewell to Bessie Dickieson (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Bessie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ross and Nellie Ross (Willis); her husband Calvin Dickieson; her son Allen; her brothers, Donnie and David; and her brother-in-law Charles Cameron.
She is survived by: her children, Brian (Julia) of Oakville, ON, Helen and Donna (Germain) of Estevan, SK; her sisters, Alice Cameron of Miramichi, NB, Pearle Fisher (Ivan) of Medicine Hat, AB and Mary Hossack (Glen) of Fredericton, NB.; her daughters-in-law, Theresa Dickieson and Carla Connors; and her friends, Carl, Sheila Munn, Nicholas Munn, Royce VanHorne, Monica Caissie, Debbie, Wayne MacKinnon and Carol Anderson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Taymouth United Church (1095 Route 148, Taymouth, New Brunswick).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Taymouth United Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
