Geoffrey Bell wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Pat, Dwight and Randy, I live in Melbourne Australia and only became aware of Brent's passing when I received the UNB Alumni magazine a week ago. I was saddened to hear of his untimely death. I first met Brent in 1981 when I was a Freshman at UNB. He was my Frosh leader. He was a year ahead of me and we were in the same faculty (BBA). I have vivid memories of Brent and his welcoming and friendly manner. He was a truly good and kind person. We would run into each other from time to time at UNB. He always had the most encouraging things to say. The year after Brent started at Imperial Oil I did the same. In fact, I took over his role when I moved to Moncton in 1986. I left Imperial to complete an MBA back in Ontario in 1987 (where I had grown up). After some time in the UK I returned to Toronto in 1993 and was working with Deloitte Consulting. I was on a short project in 1994 in Saskatoon and oddly enough bumped into Brent there in an office building. That would be the last time I saw Brent. Brent was a very authentic person and had an incredibly kind spirit. He will be missed by many many people. Best regards and fond memories, Geoff Bell [email protected]
