He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lee Smith (Moore); his sister Shyanna Smith; and his grandparents, Harry, Lillian Smith, Kenneth and Mary Moore.

He is survived by: his father Robert Smith (Dawnna); his wife Amy Harding; his son Benjamin Smith; his siblings, Darren Scott (Amy), Misty Sullivan (Blair), Penny Smith and Jodi Murdock (Marcus); and his in-laws, Ron and Linda Harding. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, extended family, and countless friends.
