He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Harris and Ella Harris (Kelly); his daughter Rhonda Lynn Harris; his great grandchild Grayson Durelle; and his sisters, Jennie Underhill, Joan Blakeney and Thelma Sullivan.

He is survived by: his wife Olive Harris; and his children, Maisie Nearing (Leonard) of Upper Gagetown, Colleen Goodwin (Fred) of Killarney Road, Nancy Dunphy (Kelvin) of Lakeville Corner, David Harris (Shelly) of Fredericton and Brian Harris (Tanya) of Lawrencetown. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
