He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hatheway and Arlene Hatheway (Ireland). He is survived by: his son Mike Hatheway (Monica) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Andrew and Lyla Hatheway; his brother Don Hatheway (Barbara) of Fredericton; and his nephew Bob Hatheway. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; and a host of long-time friends.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton SPCA or the Dayton Cemetery Perpetual Care fund.
