Charles Young Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Young (Fredericton, New Brunswick) is shared. Charles, born on December 4, 1933, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Charles will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Charles by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Charles is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Charles’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louisa Young and Cecil Young; his son Ian; and his wife May Rose Thornhill. He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Barclay (Clayton); his grandchildren, Chris and Isaac Barclay; his niece Pamela Snow (Dave); his great-niece Heidi; and his great-nephew Malcolm.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
