He was predeceased by: his parents, René Vautour and Dolores Vautour (Dupuis); his wife Fernande (Deschênes); his daughter Pamela; his daughter-in-law Ginette Savoie; and his brothers, André Vautour (Lucille), Joseph Vautour (Noëlla) and René Dupuis (Alphena).
He is survived by: his children, Monique McLeod (Andrew) of Fredericton, NB and Joel Vautour (Lori Smith) of Fredericton, NB; his grandchildren, Jordan McLeod (Joshua Peters) of Charlottetown, PEI, Marin McLeod (Andrew Wojcicki) of Fredericton, NB, Renée-Claude Vautour and Mylène Vautour of Fredericton; his stepgreat-grandsons, Adam and Alex Wojcicki; and his siblings, Charles Vautour (Odette) of Lévis, Quebec and Lisa Poitras (Réal). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Hermitage Catholic Cemetery (395 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2H9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pays-Bas Catholic Church (655 rue, Priestman St, Fredericton, NB E3B3B8).
