He was predeceased by : his parents, Clayton Granville and Jeanetta Beatrice Daye (Hetherington). He is survived by : his children, Shelley Bates (Chris) and Scott Daye (Jill); his grandchildren, Brandi Daye, Jakob Teehan, Linkin Daye and Corbin Bates; his great grandchild Daxon; his stepchildren, Kelly Paul and Brad Morehouse; his stepgrandchildren, Mallory Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Tricia Paul and Jayda Morehouse; his sisters, Jocelyn Daye (Wayne Burnside), Cathy Mersereau (Randy), Sophie and Maggie; and also Cambrie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association and Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
