Daniel Roderick Edmond Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Roderick Edmond (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Celestin Edmond and Adeline Edmond (Bourgeois); and his siblings, Joseph, Bernard, Anthony, Bertha, Mary, Amelia and Frances.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay"; his children, Judith Walcott, Michele Greeley and Kathleen Malloy (Stephen); his grandchildren, Ian, Amber Leah, Marissa, Jason, Darren, Adam, Corey and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Liam, Abby, Ryan, Emma, Connor, Jacob, Abel, Gabriel, Ezekiel, Riley, Jackson and Jaedyn; and his brother Wilfred Edmond (Annie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (25 Loisville St, Oromocto, NB E2V1B9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's memory to Hospice House, Fredericton.
