She was predeceased by: her son Gary McCarty; her stepson Jeremy Garvey; and her brother John Byers. She is survived by: her husband John Garvey; her daughters, Brenda Jordan, Juneann Melanson (Gary), Janice Gowan (Dale) and Terri McGraw Austin (John); her stepson James Garvey; and her sisters, Shirley McCain (Vincent), Sandra Allen (Ron) and Carol McPhie (Kent Davis).
