It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Charles DeMerchant (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Upper Kintore, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 16, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William DeMerchant and Elizabeth DeMerchant; and his significant other Liz. He is survived by : his sons, Bill (Betsy), Paul (June) and Peter (Sandra); his grandchildren, Theresa Taylor-Fraser (Kevin Fraser), Brian DeMerchant, Katelyn MacMackin (William), Laura Renault (Samuel), Robert DeMerchant (Marissa DiCarlo) and Bailey DeMerchant; his great grandchildren, Anya Taylor, William Fraser, Eliza, Audrey MacMackin, Olivia and Charlie Renault; and his siblings, Richard (Dick) and Florence (Doll).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bobak Room at the Delta Hotel (225 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2H8).

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Fredericton, the Alzheimer Society of NB or a charity of your choice is appreciated.
