We bid farewell to Donald DeMerchant (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 18, 2025. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeMerchant and Elizabeth DeMerchant. He is survived by: his wife Sandra DeMerchant; and his brothers, William (Betsy) and Paul (June). He is also survived by his two daughters; two grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nashwaaksis Lions Club (37 Rte 148, Fredericton, NB E3G9G2).
