Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colin McLeod and Katherine McLeod (King); his daughter Amanda Mabelson; and his brother Kenny McLeod (Bernice Hodgson). He is survived by: his sons, Norman McLeod (Celeste Benson), Malcolm McLeod (Chelsea Buckingham) and Stuart McLeod (Nancy Martin); his sister Susan Gillan (Larry Gillan); and his parrot Alice. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bishop's Funeral Home (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
