She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Brooks Sr.; her son Wayne Brooks Jr.; her parents, Anna Whittle and William Whittle; and her siblings, Joseph (Hilda), Greg, Gary, Georgina and Theresa (Art).
She is survived by: her children, Amanda (Jesse) and Jim (Jenny); her niece Renee; her grandchildren, Jessica, Cordell, Owen, Andrew, Hailee, James, Emma, Isabella and Macey; her great grandchildren, Matty, Marshall and Aziz; her siblings, Bill (Molly), Doris (late John), Barb (Phonse), Dan (Ange) and Cathy (Rob); and her close friends, Keith and Janet. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to the Fredericton Hospice House.
