With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Donna (Gordon) Silver (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Mylon Lewis Silver; her parents, Myrtle Gordon and Clarence Gordon; and her sister Shirley Elizabeth. She is survived by: her children, Monica Gibson (Rod), Ruth Ann Burrill (Tim), Betty Lou Ferris (Peter) and Jonathan Silver (Karen); her grandchildren, Julie Cunningham (Brandon), Peter Burrill (Miranda), Luke Burrill (Paulette), Danny Gibson, Jon Gibson (Katie), Jimmy Gibson (Candice), JD Silver, Tim Silver (Jenn), Matthew Silver (Stefanie), Sarah Silver, Rachel Snell (Rob), Rebekah Meyer (Robert), Joseph Ferris (Jaquelle) and David Ferris; and her siblings, Muriel Scott, Robert Gordon, Lloyd Gordon (Betty Lou) and Emerson Gordon (Nancy). She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Calvary Baptist church - Kitchen Renovation Project, where she spent many years sharing her gift of hospitality with hundreds of friends and family, or Hospice House Fredericton where Mom and our family received wonderful care.
