She was predeceased by : her husband Murray Vernon Ward; her parents, Dorothy Currie (Hayward) and Frederick Currie; her sisters, Jean Smith, Mary Harris, Martha Gillet and Pat Bernard; her grandson Kevin Cleveland; and her children-in-law, Paul King and Hazel Ward.

She is survived by : her children, Vernon Ward, Valerie King, David Ward (Marie), Gerald Ward (Mary), Kenny Ward (Sherri), Marilyn Cleveland (Danny) and Andrew Ward (Tina); her sister Veronica Bruce; her grandchildren, Robbie Ward (Roberta), Jeannie Ward (Andrew), Joey King (Sarah), Jason King (Kayla), Linnea Ward, Vincent Ward, Erin Pelz (Mackenzie), Elliott Ward, Sandy Ward (Corey), Kimberley Campbell (Adam), Alan Ward and Jillian Cleveland (BJ); her great grandchildren, Josh Ward (Jenna), Brandon Ward (Nicole), Kyle Ward, Rebecca King, Olivia King, Scott King, Jaxon King, Tayah King, Leo King, Esther Dow, Victoria Dow, Sylvia Dow, Dylan Campbell, Russell Campbell, Hailey Young, Justin Young, Zoey Young, Deakon Ward, Josef Pelz and Freya Ward; and her great great grandchildren, Violet Ward, Ava Ward and Everly Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
