He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Cottrell and Clarissa Cottrell (Booth); and his sister Nancy. He is survived by: his wife Marian Cottrell (Hawkes) of Fredericton; his son Sean; and his sister-in-law Margaret Larlee (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
