It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Gerald Cavanaugh (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Cavanaugh and Viola Cavanaugh (Lewis); his wife Maureen Cavanaugh (Pond); his sister Margaret Buideau (Phil); and his son-in-law Bill Archibald.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Cavanaugh (JoAnne), Dixie Archibald, Pam Webb and Todd Cavanaugh (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Jamie Macaulay (Nicole), Megan Scholton (Craig), Jen Fictorie (Brandon), Dabney Cavanaugh (Laura), Billy Archibald (Jessica), Brad Webb and Duncan Cavanaugh. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, as well as several extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
