She was predeceased by: her parents, Darleyne Rankine of Fredericton and Arthur Rankine of Fredericton; and her siblings, Dorothy Baxter (Don) of Maryland, USA, Maxene Rankine of Brakel, Germany and Vernon Rankine (Emma) of Fredericton.
She is survived by: her husband Donald D. Leonard; her children, Jim (Jill) of Fredericton and Jane of Newton; and her brother Charles Rankine of Fredericton.
After years deteriorating with Alzheimer's, she could not overcome the flu.
