It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Louise Wonitoway (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Durham Bridge, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, S. Maurice Johnston and Mary Johnston (Pond); her brother Henry; and her common-law partner John Estey. She is survived by: her daughter Joele Wonitoway (David); her grandchildren, Isaac, Avery, Oliver, Clara, Marion and Barbara; and her siblings, Dawn Stewart (late Kenneth), David Johnston (Rose), Nancy MacFarlane (David) and Jack Johnston (Rika). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
