She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilbur (Dorothy Mancke) and Oregon; and her siblings, Philip Mancke, Katherine Kidd, Mary Sletten, Walter Mancke and Bill Mancke. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
In 2020, Elizabeth was recognized with a UNB Merit Award for her outstanding contributions to teaching, research and university service.
