She was predeceased by: her parents, David Keddy and Margaret Keddy; her husband Major Reuben Edgar Janes; her siblings, Elsie, David and Shirley; and her pet Kahlua.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen Janes (Annette) of Windsor, ON, Kimberley Janes (Paul Flemming) of Lincoln, NB and Jacqueline Janes of Ottawa Valley, ON; her grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler Janes, Joshua, Jonathan Beveridge, Christian and Kara Mullins; and her great grandchildren, Parker Janes, Madison Shirley Janes, Jaxon Reuben Janes, Lana Ember and Ellie Aura Janes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
