He was predeceased by: his parent Laurie; his wife Cathy; and his siblings, Kathleen Blunston, Billy Blunston (Mildred) and Kenny Blunston (Bernice).

He is survived by: his mother Geneva Blunston (Flinn); his sons, Stephen Blunston and Dwayne Blunston (Krista); his granddaughters, Jessica O'Neil, Zoe Blunston and Maggie Blunston; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Haley and Rosalie; and his siblings, Chris Blunston (Tara), Keith Blunston and Crystal Ebersbach (Richard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
