With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ferne Grace MacNaughton (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in McNamee, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Karl Glenn MacNaughton; her parents, James E. Stewart and Stewart (Clowater); and her siblings, Harriet Demont, Cecil Stewart, Carl Stewart and Alice Vroom.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Carol LeBlanc (Ted) and Glenn Stewart MacNaughton (Kellie Hanson); and her granddaughters, Katie Ann LeBlanc (Colin Turnbull) and Emily Grace MacNaughton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation - 4E.
