It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence (Harlow) Doherty (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence (Harlow) Doherty to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Muriel Harlow and Cecil Harlow; her spouse Charlie Doherty; her sons, Mark (Anne-Marie), Tim (Alison) and Mike (Maggie); her grandchildren, Sean (Moira), Colleen (Kyle), Brian, Erin and Calum; her great grandchildren, Isla, Maeve, Grady and James; and her friend Frances McGinn.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bishop's Funeral Home (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

“So sorry to hear of the loss of Flo. Such a lovely couple to visit when i was dropping in to leave my "AVON" order to her. Always a chuckle and a great story about her family. Charilie was my elementary school teacher and my husband grew up with their children in Skyline Acres plenty of years ago. Flo was a lovely lady and I missed my visits with her when she moved from my subdivsion. Thinking of the Doherty family during this sadden time.”

“Flo and Charlie were icons on Jupiter Crescent.. When we first moved on the street, Hannah would go visit Flo with "flowers" picked from the yard or a one-of0a-kind artwork. Flo would invite her in, make cookies or some such. Living so far away for our family, Flo and Charlie became Hannah's "grandparents". Beautiful people (even if Charlie had a dark side and cavorted with Notre Dame). They are both missed on our little street. John Kershaw”
