With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Ilene McGeachy (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 4, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Griffith and Edith Griffith (Chapman); her brothers, Wesley Griffith, John Griffith and Calvin Griffith; and her son Duncan Kirk McGeachy.
She is survived by: her brother Ernest Griffith (June); her daughters, Mary St (Robert) and Janet McGeachy McAvity; her grandchildren, Rebecca Hansen, Todd Hansen Red Deer (Jessica), Taigue McAvity Fredericton (Amanda), Tayce McAvity, Chelsea Vancouver (Davin), B. C., Sam McGeachy, Shannon and Sarah McGeachy; her children, Nicholas McGeachy Edmonton, Megan McGeachy Fredericton, N. B. John, Kennedy McGeachy Saint John and N. B. As; her husband Duncan; her granddaughter FaceTime; and also Lisa (McGeachy). She is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charlotte County Cancer Society, Charlotte County SPCA, Fundy Community Foundation for the D. Kirk McGeachy Memorial Scholarship or donor's choice.
